The Story
Cire is a desk for the long letter. Its surface is finished with a beeswax rubbed in over the course of a week, until the wood holds the light without reflecting it.
The stretcher beneath is forged iron, hammered by a single blacksmith in Burgundy who has worked with the atelier for fourteen years.

How it is made.
Built to commission. Each table is hand-finished for its owner, with a lead time of approximately sixteen weeks.
